Stan’s Story

Stan Wanted to Streamline his Giving

Stan-webThrough Amador Community Foundation Field of Interest Funds, Stan was able to organize and streamline his giving, without the time-consuming and expensive administration of setting up his own private foundation.

Stan Lukowicz, an Amador County entrepreneur is a strong believer in giving back. Stan wanted his charitable contributions to go to specific fields of interest. His passion was particularly directed toward Amador youth and seniors.

There are several Amador Community Foundation Funds directed toward Stan’s fields of interest. He selected The Amador Lifeline Fund which was created to provide Lifeline services to community members with limited incomes, and the Boy Scouts of America Amador District Fund which was founded in 2004 and provides for uniforms, events and outings, as well as offering grants for selected Eagle Scout candidates to be used toward their Eagle service projects.

“If it weren’t for Boy Scouts, I would not be where I am today. I want to be assured that any boy in Amador County that wants to be a Scout is given the oportunity. The Boy Scouts of America Amador District Fund was created for just this purpose.”
