COVID-19 Pandemic Recovery & Support

The effects of the pandemic relating to the novel coronavirus COVID-19 and the subsequent Delta variant have caused an underlying uncertainty for small businesses, families, and healthcare support throughout our region. From the onset of COVID-19, both short-term and long-term economic loss continues to be felt in our community. We support the nonprofit efforts providing services to our most vulnerable who face economic hardships, food scarcity and health insecurity in the months ahead.

Keep Your Family Safe by creating a 5 minute escape plan

More than 2.7 million Californians live in very high fire hazard severity zones. Record breaking temperatures and drier conditions put many Californians at risk for wildfires. Stay prepared, plan out evacuation routes, and evacuate early to keep you and your family safe.

  • Evacuate early when fire or disaster is present
  • Have an established meeting place
  • Pack an emergency kit with essentials like medicine, important documents, clothes, food, and water.
  • Familiarize yourself with Red Flag Warning and how to get weather reports
  • If you need to go, get your emergency bags packed and gather your family and pets.
  • Most important, don’t wait for the evacuation order.

Evacuating from your home early can mean the difference of life or death. When a wildfire or other disaster strikes, be prepared to leave in a moment’s notice. Having a 5-minute plan with an escape route can get you and your family out and safe. Don’t wait to be told to be evacuated, leave before fires get too close.
